Where fun on the slopes is at home
Skiing in Sölden & Gurgl
The ski resort of Sölden is approx. 10 km away from the campsite in Huben and is, quite rightly, known as THE skier’s paradise in the Ötztal: 144 kilometres of slopes, 31 modern lifts, 2 glacier ski areas, 3 connected 3000 m mountains and over 30 huts and restaurants. A number of ski schools, numerous ski hire shops and depots round off what Sölden has to offer. All 6 day lift passes are also valid in the ski resort of Gurgl, where there are a further 112 kilometres of slopes between 1 900 m and 3 000 m in altitude.
Both ski resorts are reachable by bus, an environmentally friendly way to travel. The ski bus stop is 500 m away from the campsite. Tip: Children and beginners can practice their first turns in the family resort of Gries above Längenfeld to get a taste of skiing.
